Hey guys I need some direction as to get rid of a low speed squeak somewhere in the front end of my 99 tj. Dana 30 axle. All stock.
I've checked drive shaft. All seems tight. Checked axles u joints. They also have no play in them.
Noise goes away over 20 mph. No shakes or grinding noise.
Sounds like crickets up front, any ideas would greatly be appreciated.
Also it happens in 4wd as well as 2wd.

U-joints will "often" go tight (dry) and squeak, then go loose and click. Also, the bearings in the front DS centering ball yoke (in the CV joint) could be bad.
