Needed to update this. I'm at least getting my brake pads done, but would like help with the other maintaince. I won't be able to go off roading until I get everything fixed :banghead: Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance

suggestions on differentials

I need to replace the pinion seal on my differential and I am going to do a fluid swap so I was wondering what kind of differential fluid and what kind of gasket sealer you all suggest

Black permatex gasket maker, and cheap gear oil. Should be changed twice a year if you wheel a lot

What other work needs to be done?
It's a fairly long list, but the ones off the top of my head are:
leaking radiator
leaking front and rear diffs
cracked like no other serpentine belt
front steering stabilizer bushings are shot (they're stock)
front and rear seal bearings are leaking

I'll get the full list either today or tomorrow and post up what needs to be done.

Here's what I still need to do before I can go back on the trails:
Tighten front sway bar link mount (Can't be too hard, right? Just need to know what
Replace serpentine belt (David can show me how to do it)
Remove and replace radiator
Remove and replace front track bar
Power flush transmission
Adjust front band (have no clue what this is)
Service transfer case
Service both diffs
Remove and replace front and rear pinion shaft seal
Remove and replace spark plugs
Clean all fuel injections
Clean off air intake system idle air control system
Clean of all intake manifold runners top of all piston and intake valves

If I can do most of this on my own, without a garage, let me know with some instructions, if possible, or a link.

Thank you

Amy, I have some things to do to my rig and I know Rollie has some thing to do on his. Maybe we can just get wrenching party together and help each other for a bit on Sat.

I'm open to both days as of now. Just need to watch my temp level lol. I can bring drinks or whatever else is needed. Want to try to learn as much as possibly to do on my own so I won't have to bug all of you. I have two cordless drills that are fully charged, and some other hand tools to bring. And honestly thanx to everyone, I'll pay all who shows up back :). It's the least I can do.

And bring the parts you need to replace.

There is an autozone, napa, o'riley's within 5 miles of my place but it would save time if you already have the parts you know you want to replace. Like serpentine belt and all the fluids you need. If you want to replace the radiator probably need to bring one with you. Might check and see if you can pick up a certified used one someplace to save some cash.

I know we are working on at least 3 other jeeps all at the same time so anything to save time would be great.
