Have an extended wrangler and need a top solution. Is there anywhere to get custom made soft tops with different dimensions than stock? Extending a hard top seems much more difficult than finding somewhere to make a soft top to fit. Thanks in advance.

Seems like some people stretch to CJ-8 or LJ dimensions and use tops from them. How much did you add?

The tub of a JK and JL is about 6" or so wider than a CJ-7/YJ/TJ tub. The tubs them selves for those three were about the same dimension. Changes in the dash area and rear wheel housing were a few of the major differences. If you have hard doors, an LJ top might be altered to work, but the top area over the doors would have to be lengthened about 1 1/2 inches (the CJ-7 and YJ windshields were more vertical than the TJs). Then of course the rear would have to be measured to see if it was the correct length for the LJ tub.
