Need some help diagnosing a vibration I have at 62 mph. I have a 2013 JKUR. I just put on a Metalcloak Gamechanger Lite 2.5" and 35 x 12.5 x 17 Fierce Attitude MT's. I mounted the tires on stock rims with Spidertrax 1.5 spacers. After I installed the lift I had an alignment done at a reputable shop. I have had the tires balanced twice and I still have a vibe at 62 mph, feels like it is in the rear. The steering wheel does not vibrate. It rides and feels great at all other speeds. I took it in today to have a road force balance done and the tech took it for a drive and said it was a driveline vibe not a balance issue. My question is has anyone experienced driveline issues with only 2.5" lift? I want to make sure before buying a shaft that this is the issue. If so what recommendations for the driveshaft and should I do both or just one? Also I am getting ready for a 3000 mile trip, is this something that has to be done before that to prevent any damage or am I okay? Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reply. I was a bit skeptical of what he said. I will rotate back to front tomorrow and see what happens. I have a spare I can rotate in if needed.

Just having the tech spin the tires on a machine is not "road force"
A roller puts pressure on the tire while it spins to read the high/low spots. Then run out of the wheel is checked to make sure it's ok.
If it takes a bunch of weight, the tire should be broken down and spun 180 on the wheel.

They never seem to take the proper steps. First attempt at RF balancing, the shop charged me for a road force and I denied paying for it. Was told to bring the jeep back in the next day. I refused and paid for a normal balance.

The second time, I also had the alignment looked at and it was off pretty significantly, so I had that done too (it had been about 10,000 since the first alignment). This did the trick for me..

That's bull not being able to RF a 35" tire.

I just rotated my tires and installed a 2.5" lift.. i'm running 35s and I got a steering wheel shake at 50-60 mpg but it disappears higher than that. I got an alignment done but it's still there ever so slightly AND they rebalanced my front two tires. Kurtz265 has the exact same symptoms with his 2.5" lift (same RK coils) although we are running different control arms and different caster numbers, and different tires as well.

It's discrimination, is what it is. Discrimination against big-tired people. There oughta be a law (there probably already is, knowing the jack-holes in D.C these days)

I still have a shimmy at all speeds. Kinda learned to live with it.
