I have a 2004 TJ. It was dying when I stop accelerating. I got some sea foam to try, when I went to start it (been 5 days) it does absolutely nothing. The only thing I have done in those 5 days is remove a RightTrack module for insurance. Any suggestions?
Yeah. Check battery and alternator power. Maybe re-charge or replace battery.
My 00' TJ also started dying immediately after I stop accelerating when driving, and had weak idle. It came to be the IAC valve that was dirty. I cleaned it up and idle got slightly better and no-dying anymore. On the way, i cleaned all the air intake system, bought new air filter and will change battery soon as well (because it is getting powerless).
