I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be the TPS sensor. might want to run the codes...i believe 24 is the TPS. mine was hesitating like it wasn't getting any fuel. you can also check the TPS by probing, should get about 5.0volts. just a suggestion, but i am sure there will be many more.:wavey: I am a new member ,I have a 1993 yj bought it about 3 mounts ago
and i love it . but i have a small problem,when i hit 55 to 60 miles per hour
it begains to hesitate .can you give me some tips on what i need to do to
fix this problem.
You can do the codes youself. Its real easy...insert key turn it to the ON position (don't crank the engine) then OFF position, then ON, then OFF, then ON and leaave it there. The check engine light will go off, and then begin to blink. So for instance 'blink blink pause blink blink' would be code 22 etc...i will try to find another post that makes it more clear...thanks for info ,i will take it to get codes as soon as i get off work today.
Read this thread...it also explains the simple procedure and lists the codesthanks for info ,i will take it to get codes as soon as i get off work today.
