Get some chain link fence hardware and mount it to the roll bar in the rear. I did mine like that and love it there. I'll see if I have a pic but I think others have it there also.

That is a nice mount but here in Cali I can see it now, I get rearended and my jack goes through the winshield and the cops are well son that was too far out past your bumper you're going to the pokey......damn it.....
