I know....it's a Jeep and Jeep's rattle:)

2013 JK Sport. I have a plastic sounding rattle underneath the Jeep in the rear when I hit a bump or travel over bumpy road, especially where they put down bricks or cobblestones in the road.

It sounds like someone hitting the wheel well liners but that is not the problem (see below).

Here is some of what I have done which could be causing a rattle from searching posts on here:
  • removed the spare tire carrier
  • installed an exhaust which dumps before the axle and removed the tin heat shield
  • tightened all of the door strikers (it is clearly underneath the Jeep)
  • drove around with no wheel well liners while I installed my Bushwacker flares

None of this did away with the noise. It is louder on concrete than asphalt as the concrete reflects the noise better. It won't do it while I jump up and down on the bumper, you have to be moving.

Anywhere else I should look? Thanks in advance

Rear driveline boot?
Mine tore on the trail and made hollow plastic cup sound at higher speeds....cut it off for the highway ride home.
