Has anyone made a lift. I know you can build a a bastard pack for a xj from s10 springs. didn't know if there are any options like that for the yj.

There are options just the same for the YJ.

What are some of the options. I have 1" shackels now would like another 1-1.5" maybe 2" (trying to keep from doing a sye) to go with the 1" body lift I'm getting ready to put on.

Anything over 1" lift shackles is a bad idea. It will lead to severely sagging springs. Your best bet will be building a bastard pack to give you another inch or so. As for avoiding an SYE, keep the suspension lift under 3" and set your pinion angle correctly. Some do 4" lifts with no SYE and have no vibes at all, but others do 2.5" or less and get vibes... So there is no gaurantee you won't, but a properly setup pinion and t-case angle is key.

Ya I'm not looking to do any more on the shackles. Just trying to find a recipe for a bastard pack.

you can make a bastard pack with another set of yj springs. IIRC, its good for bout 2-3 inches.
