I just bought a 1997 Wrangler SE with 4 clylenders and auto. It has some lift and 32" tires. How can I figure out how much lift. It really needs some new shocks.

I have had 4x4s since 1972, but this is my first Jeep, so I am not very familar with it. I looked and it does not appear to have any body lift. It looks like it has rubber spacers 1/2-3/4" thick. Can you measure between the axil and frame to determine the lift? The only thing that could be a spacer is at the top of the front springs. A white metal piece about 1" thick. Any help will be appreciated.
