'04 TJ Sport, 4.0 L manual shift, about 95K on the clock.

Had some overheating issues which I traced to a weak cap (burped fluid, then ran low). I changed cap, thermostat and both hoses. While flushing the system, I had the upper hose disconnected at the radiator. Fluid coming out of there once the engine was up to temp just didn't seem like a whole lot. I had a piece of PVC running from the hose out to a bucket, and it just kind of rolled out, maybe a gallon a minute or so. How much are these supposed to flow?

I'd rather not change the pump unless it is necessary, as it is my son's daily driver. He has about 30 free minutes a day right now, between football, show cows and physical therapy.

The jeep tends to run right at 210 according to the gauge.

doesn't sound odd to me, with sys open and no pressure to push it just flows nice and steady. only holds what 2.5 gallons , that's not much really. that impeller is probably small as hell on those pumps. as long as u have the overheating fixed, i'd think your ok.

mine runs 210 also
