How soon is too soon to take the doors off?

I generally leave mine off year round down here in SWFL. I will leave the soft top up and put the doors back on during the rainy season, but the windows stay off. Parts of my head unit stopped working after a couple of years of exposure. It occasionally crashes and it will no longer try to pair with any phone. Other than typical rust from the salt air, everything else seems to be holding up fine. 6 years for a 2017 JKU soft top, no garage.
