Dumb question: are the lower control arms under any tension/compression when jeep is on level ground?

I am wanting to install some bolt-on LCA skids and need to remove the bolt first. I'm concerned the arm will swing out and then not go back in due to weight shifting things. Any advice appreciated.

Also, to confirm, re-install torque is 125 ft-lb?

To be clear, I am only removing the lower bolt on the axle mount, not the frame mount.

I took my bolts out of the stock arm on the ground and they go back in easy. You should be fine. I just installed new fixed lowers that are slightly longer and I cannot get the hole to line up for the life of me.
