On my 97 tj the passenger side side stock mirror keeps moving when i close the door. is there a way to tighten it ? or do i need a new one

Right underneath where your mirror mounts to the arms are two phillips head screws. Once you get the mirror lined up the way you want, turn them righty-tighty and it'll lock them in place.

Ur best bet is to goto the hardware store and get ones with allen heads cuz you ll never get enuff bite on phillips heads

Our driver's side moves when the door shuts, when the wind blows, you name it. Will look for those screws once the Jeep is home again. Thanks. =)

You have an 03+ model which has a different design. I'm not sure how they tighten.

Good point. :doh: The driver's side was broken when we got our LJ, so it needs replacing anyway.

Anyone have recommendations for replacement mirrors? Don't really feel like paying for OEM parts when there are inexpensive alternatives that still look good. I've seen a few options on Amazon, but I'm hoping to actually see pictures of mirrors mounted on Jeeps.
