But can't help it (on my part). Currently finishing a build (35s and all they entail for a TJ...yes, JKs and 35s are plug and play), new fenders and and flares will be complete by this weekend (rear done, but I still need to prep/paint the fronts before I do the tear down/install), and then the TJ goes into Vegas 4x4 next week for regear.

Only items left after that will be some lighting issues (installing rock lights and possibly some additionals), along with some grinding/cutting work to my rock sliders to make them fit with my new fenders. Hopefully completed by the end of June. I have a date with the Rubicon Trail mid July, so working to complete well ahead of to ensure everything is tested out.

But that is why I haven't been posting up rides as of late. :)

Excuses, excuses...

Sounds like your plan is coming together!

As for us, I've got my old TJ back in my shop. My Colorado daughter owns it now and kinda ran it into the ground. Dad has it back for repairs so I've been working on "Blackie". Maybe by fall I'll have it ready for good test drive.

In the meantime, we're ready to roll with the JK, but are also heading to Colorado for family visit and to lead trails at Mile Hi Jeep Club's 50th annual All 4 Fun. This years event is sold out, but it's something any 4x4er would enjoy so consider a week long 4x4 trip to Colorado next year. For information here ya go... www.a4fun.org/

Great to know people are still alive and well.

I haven't been out in a while either, with the new addition to our family in December, a baby girl, I've had to hone down the off roading till she gets a little older. We did try out the lake couple weeks back and she was all smiles on the bumpy two track we go down to get to our spot, i can tell she's going to fit right in.

Sounds great. I am not going to lie...I might be hitting Colorado (via Moab) in the early Fall before snow sets in. We shall see (having to work around the fam's schedule (wife working and 7 year old's school). Perhaps next year will work on the organized side.

Yeah, I've got some work to do this weekend--just got back from two days at "lovely" Fort Irwin, CA, so a bit behind on my prime and paint of fenders. Manana.

Don't blame you when they are "tiny". My two (now 7 and 4) seemed to get their best sleep when the road got rougher. The 4 year old still does. :)

Recently having problem with my TIPM box, another issue now keeping me from actually driving my Jeep, it sits in front of my house now last two days as i try to figure out whats wrong. I have some ideas and some emails sent out to people waiting for response to try to get her running again.

Thanks for the congrats, she is awesome, two boys before and they love to fall asleep on the trail as well.

I know the wife and i are interested in Jeeping out, hiking, camping, hiking, Jeeping kind of thing. We were looking at Great Basin in Northern Nevada. Iv'e never been up north before, it something id usually say in Michigan but it looks great here as well.

Nice. I am JUST about finished with my primary build out. Regear by Larry at Vegas 4x4 completed earlier this week. Metalcloak fenders and flares completed last weekend (the prep took the week prior as I had them delivered raw). And grinding and cutting on my Stout Offroad (Vegas local) rock sliders to make compatible with the fenders happened this morning. That was actually relatively easy/went well (so many mods have their own quirks). Sanded and washed them this afternoon and will prime/paint over the next 24 and reinstall. Oh yeah. Also drilled out and tapped a broken door strap screw today that has been broken since before I picked up this TJ. Driver's door now "restrained". LOL.

Need to figure out my rock light install sometime in the next week... But close. Real close.
