Ok so I am a noob regarding lift kits. My jeep is my DD and I rarely will be wheeling. I want to put on 33 or 35s. I have a 4 door 4wd and plan on moving to Tennessee. I don't have tons to spend. What are some suggestions of what size to lift, what kind of lift (suspension vs body vs leveling or a mix) , and price that I would be looking at. I want a smooth ride that won't hamper my mpgs too much. I also want to be able to go off road and/or not get stuck if stuff happens. Not sure if this is even a possibility. Thank you in advance!

TeraFlex leveling kit. 2in in front and 1in in back. Perfect for 33's. $130 and relatively easy to install.

What year is your Jeep? That will determine if your current gearing can handle 35's or not. Typically 35's will significantly reduce MPG and performance on OEM gear ratio's. 33's are more forgiving, however, if you are considering 35's but get 33's, chances are you will have buyers remorse. Body lifts on JK's do not look good, so skip. I personally would do the Rock Krawler 2.5" Stock Mod and 33's if DD and MPG was a concern.

Clarification

It is a 2009 x unlimited( stock).

Questions that I have still are:

I see just springs, springs with bump stops, shocks and control arms, 4 round pieces( not exactly sure what these are, the tereflex leveling kit and other lift kits on amazon do as well).

For what I want do i need springs, shocks, the metal/plastic things, control arms, bump stops? I am just so clueless looking at them all. Thanks
