Yesterday i was driving to the store with the jeep and when I was getting in the jeep to go home. i went to turn on the jeep and the engine turned once then I lost all power. Then I tried again and then it turn on. I'm not sure if it was just a bad contact that made it lostt all power. Does anybody have any idea what went wrong.

Check your batt cables. Make sure they are nice and clean and snug on the batt posts.

Check the negative connection at the grounding point, near the distributor. if the lugs look crappy at either ends of the cables, change them out. They have done 15 years in, presumably, New England winters and may not be doing their job anymore. Make sure the connection points are clean and shiny and protect those points with an appropriate product.
