Alwright guys & Gals, looking into upgrading my Ignition System, to better my mpg. Right now I'm getting between 16/17 mpg. My Jeep is a 94 YJ 2.5l engine with 92k mi. I'm on a limited budjet due to being retired and do just about all of the work on her. Any help on this will be appreiated.

I can't tell you about the best route to go with the ignition system, but I can tell you I saw a significant increase in my mileage after replacing my injectors. Cost about $90, but it was worth it.

You can also check for vacuum leaks, replace the oxygen sensor, and upgrade your air filter. All cheap maintenance that will affect your mileage.

Thanks Jenkins for the tip. Definantly worth looking into. If I can make her more affordable longer trips are in the future.
