I got to put my 3" bds kit on my 97' tj this weekend. It didn't go too bad with the exception of a few rusted bolts and the horrible "torx" front track bar bolt. The kit was very informative as well as easy to follow. I did use spring compressors slightly to put the front springs in as I did not loosen the cam bolts. It took me (solo project) approx. 20 hrs to install but I was prepping and cleaning/painting a few parts as I went so that bumped my time up. Overall I really like the bds lift and it drove great. I had it allighned at jack Williams and now it drives and holds the road much better. The jeep does ride better than the stock susp. That was on it. I believe I might change the quick disconnects because there's a cheesy plastic pc. That holds it in the knuckle. I can see this breaking soon. Now time for some new rubber, any thoughts on the 33x10.50x15 BFG km2's?
