I don't have any insulation or carpeting inside and my tub is lined. The tranny/motor puts off a lot of heat, especially during the summer. I wanted to keep out the heat, if not all. The idea is to put some heat shield insulation, spray some hi temp adhesive and put the insulation on the outside of the tub near the tranny(The undercarriage) I know it usually goes inside the cab on the floorboards but was hoping to aviod doing that.
Wanted to see if anyone has done this and what it's like. And also if it is safe to use it this way. I know some folks have used it for their hoods. Thanks!
