Sorry if this questions been asked a ton before, but what is the best aftermarket intake that will fit on a 97 4 cyl. The factory one just seems to be about the worst setup I've ever seen, and I need to find something to move more air without sucking in water if I abuse it a little. Thanks.

Sounds like you mean air filter, not manifold. If the 4 is like the 6cyl, the poor man's option is to cut the tube running to the airbox and slap a K&N on there. Silicone or dielectric grease where the filter slides over the tube keeps that watertight. The oil in a K&N filter is hydrophobic, making it my choice over the newer non-oiled synthetic filters.
