I like the sounds of Wheeler Pass, haven't made the entire trip all the way through before. Also Nelson sounds good, I usually go cliff jumping there, I would like to know a trail over that way.

Perfect run for a stock rig. There are a few 4X4 spots with bypass of needed.

Only damage would be some desert pins tripping from brush in the trail.

A very nice trail. Great view from the top at 7700 ft.

Join us it will be a great run.

Wheeler pass go up from the Pahrump side and go up from wheelers well when you get to the summit you will have a good idea if you or your rig can make on over and down. I made the trip in the early spring busted through a couple of snow drifts and couldn't go back got stuck big time would probably still be there but another jeep coming up from Indian springs was able to help me out between both winch's was able to reach me awesome trip lesson learned don't go alone and don't cross a threshold where you cant go back

I can make the run if after 1:00 (sorry got church), but have been wanting to run this for a while and possibly running rocky gap on the way back in. I think it only took me and Ray about 2.5 hours to do rocky gap on labor day, so it wouldnt be too far fetched doing both starting early afternoon. Oh and for the guys worried with stock jeeps running rocky gap, my stock height rubicon did it just fine. it isnt much worse than last year. I still think there's more damage to the trail before and after the rock gardens.
