Like the title says I'm getting a random thunk when I turn the steering wheel when parked. Seems to happen more when I turn the wheel right full lock

I took the Jeep to my local mechanic and he could not find anything and said everything in the front end is tight.

Drove an hour to a local for me Jeep expert. He was under the jeep while I turned the wheel back and forth. It clunked every time I turned it but then it suddenly stopped. No more thunk . I drove around for a while trying ot replicate the thunk and could not.
Ended up driving home with no solution or thunk for a few days.

Now once in a while when I turn the wheel to full lock I hear the thunk. Seems to happen most after the Jeep has sat a couple days.

Jeep is an 02 6cyl auto and has a 3" rancho lift.
New Teraflex track bar and ball joints installed by the Jeep expert last June.

Any suggestions are welcome

I had a similar situation. Eventually found that the axle-end eye bushing on my OME steering stabilizer had disintegrated.
