'90 wrangler 4.2 I6 stock. Been having some problems with the jeep having starting up and maintaining idle. It also stalls out when I come to a stop or when it idles rough and I give it too much gas  My dad (who I bought the jeep from) thinks it's the choke is this really the problem? If so what does it look like and where is it located? Thanks in advance to any help

If the carb. is stock you don't have an electric choke. The choke could be hanging up. Unfortunately, it could be a number of things from needing a tune-up to a carb. overhaul. Try cleaning everything in and out with carb. cleaner and bringing the idle set screw out on a hot engine to at least 800rpm and go from there.
