I just bought my first jeep. I'm looking to meet local people for some wheelin with my family. We are a young family but a fun family. Let me know if there is a group around or some others looking to do the same thing and we can see where this goes. Thanks.

Not aware of a club in Kurdistan, but in Hemet is the Hemet Jeep Club and also the Hemet-San Jacinto Calvacade Crawlers. Both have have info online. Oh, and welcome to the madness of Jeep.

Not sure what Jeep you bought or your skill level...we recently decided to go for a drive to Mt. Palomar- and randomly came upon Nathan's Grade trail. Nice, easy trail if you want to get a little dusty and get the kiddies out. There are a couple of hiking trails off of it too.

I'm not available this weekend but I'm definatly interested in meeting your crew. I bought the jeep for a family toy. It's stock for the most part right now. I haven't figured out how to post a pic yet. I've got 3 boys and they love it so far

Very cool seeing this thread - My fiance', her 8 year old daughter and I live in Murrieta as well and have been looking for some folks to do some Jeeping with. I am still doing some of the final touches to my rig (Tom Woods DS's and bigger winch), but she is pretty capable as she sits. Which leads me up to my next question, who in the area (or riverside) will do a re-gear for a good price. I found this guy on CL for $900 (RWK HAUS SUPPLY The best drivetrain store you will find - parts and labor included) he will install 5:13's, another $800 gets you Yukon Lockers. Thoughts? Anyone know this guys work? Suggestions of other shops? I would prefer to not pay out the nose w/ 4WP's. That aside, would love to get twisted up if anyone is heading out for some off road fun.

I've found a family type club (so they say) that meets the 1st sat of the month at TJs pizza on Los Alamos at 5 for dinner meeting 6-7. I'll be attending this sat solo to check it out. If it goes well ill be taking the wife and kids 8-4 in the future. Idk much about shops out here but I do know JPI in upland I believe is where I've seen a lot of guys talking about on here. *im in no way affiliated with them, just passing on the word.

ie4w meets in Grand Terrace, just North of Riverside. They run Big Bear Forest Fest. Great club, they've been around a long time. I might go to their next meeting and check it out.

They meet the first Thursday of every month which is tomorrow apparently.
