2006 LJ Rubi DD for my wife and I. I work night shift and she works during the day so it's kind of a double DD. we have fun with it on our days off as well. Love our jeep and I wouldn't trade it for any other vehicle ever.

My '08 Rubicon is my DD and I enjoy taking it on some pretty interesting and difficult trails. I do get it fairly muddy since it's hard to resist and impossible to avoid in the wet Pacific Northwest, but I wouldn't really consider it mudding since I don't get as crazy or bold as some people on here.

Edit: Just realized this is on the TJ forum. Oops.

I "wheel" my TJ but not as much as some Jeepers I know, and it is also my DD and has been since I bought it in '04...now the JK it plays "taxi" for the TJ as the TJ only seat 2 with the half top and the whole family like to wheel....I need another off-road rig/ DD
The '12 is "too nice" to wheel in the IN clay/ mud mix IMO

Yup, my jeep is my DD.. I do minimal wheeling on trails and explorations because my jeep is my daily commuter. I won't do extreme things like rock crawling or extreme mudding though.

My buddies and I have found interesting things while wheeling in the middle of no where.. We have explored abandoned buildings, houses, and even a cemetary with grass waist high with graves dating back in the mid 1800s out in the boonies. It really makes you wonder what the area was like back in that time.

Mine is a DD, but I will take it out on the sand dunes, high dessert with sage brush, and snow. If I want to play in mud, I use my 4x4 atv.

If so do you take your DD off road and mudding?
Mines a DD. Hate mud but, wheel hard. I drive to and from the trail head. I was always envious of the trailer queen crowd, in my local club, and always wondered how that would affect my lines or decision making. I broke once on the trail but, my dues paid for membership rolled a couple members away from a family weekend and to come to my rescue.

Wheel wisely and listen to wiser members.

Daily driver and hit the trails about every weekend. I don't do a whole lot of "mudding" just because I hate cleaning it up. I'm lucky and live within 2 hours of 5 offroad parks, mountains, management areas and national forest so I have a good bit to explore.
