It's Miller Jeep Time!!! Yay - we're in!! I just have to ask - can we camp at circle canyon campground?
:bop: Stoked!!!

OK, camp---Ted asked the same thing....we can of course..I just wasn't sure how many wanted to camp. I'll switch it on my first post.

For anyone new reading this post, Circle Canyon campground is clearly marked in the park and looks like a circle. It is by far the bushiest and most scenic campground in the park. You can see everything and what everyone is doing on quads, motos, trucks and Jeeps..

I'm going to make it official and switch camp from Upper Scrubs to Circle Canyon.

From Upper Scrubs to Circle canyon, it's just like you're driving to Upper Scrubs. Just pass Upper Scrubs and Circle canyon is just up the road and on your right. You can't miss it; it looks like a circle. :doh2::mooning::rofl2:

Well Bob; you know my wheeling schedule. Every 2-3 weeks I'm in the dirt and rocks. There's always next one, and next one and next one. :thumb:

Bandages; That was just about a year ago...Do the runs math on that one! Many, many since then.

Is Miller hard to find for a NorCal Jeeper who's never been down there? I'll be down there with my Jeep during the week but, sadly, will be heading back up to NorCal Thursday night, so I'll miss the opportunity to take part on your run. Kudos to you for putting these runs together BTW! Isn't it amazing how you can gather total strangers with a common passion for jeeping and have a great time in the process!

Here's a GPS track that I hope will help. The track starts off in the town of Lebec, which is just off the freeway, and where you will want to gas up. Then it proceeds to a waypoint labeled "MillerJpTrlTH", which is where you will get off the pavement and onto a dirt road, which leads to a waypoint labeled "MillrJpTrlStg" which is where you will want to air down and put it into 4-Lo. Waypoint "Sunset Camp" is a good place to break for lunch. "Dutchman Camp" marks the end of Miller Jeep trail and the end of anything difficult. Put it back into 2WD and enjoy the 45-minute easy drive back down into Hungry Valley. There's a fun little 4WD playground (or Practice Area) in Hungry Valley if you want more fun. Air up either at Dutchman Camp or Hungry Valley, depending on whether or not you plan to play at Hungry Valley or just pass through and get back on the freeway. The GPS track also includes waypoints for a bunch of the campgrounds and the 4WD Practice Area at Hungry Valley.

I wouldn't recommend going alone. Although MJT is relatively easy as far as difficult trails go, stuff could happen and has happened on that trail.

Gotcha! >Like I told Bob...you guys know I'm constantly running. I think we just have different schedules or something.

I can't help myself! :D Maybe we'll wheel someday....

As for YoYo's (Yomondo) GPS tracks..that's a bit different from what I'm doing on this run. It's part of it.. I've added more stuff for this run. Miller alone isn't enough of a wheeling day for me..

Well!!! It's about time!! Geesh!!! :whistling: I'll add ya :D

As for the Jeep and Crystal driving...well..Kalvin; ya had to have seen that one coming! C'mon!! :lmao:

It's easy 5 south to Frazier Mountain Park Road. You can see the flying J from the Freeway. It's a 5 hour ride from Sacramento. There is also a Motel 6 in the same parking lot for leaving or staying an extra day for traveling that far.

93225 zipcode guys for weather checks :D - Fraizer Park

I'm going to call Ranger Rick and inquire about Chucupate campground and fires. They have rings there, so they may allow fires..depends. But I know they are not allowing fires in my Sky Ranch. HV may be the only spot right now allowing fires..I'll call, and if they are, next time, we'll camp at Chucupate..and it's free :) And Pretty..nothing but trees and the sites are spread out :thumb: It's right off Lockwood, which is closer to Miller and all the other trails I run out there.
