im goin to put a 4 inch lift on my jeep what else do i need and what it the wideest tires and rim i coould put on thhanks
What we are trying to find out is, what you have for engine, and gears in your differentials. With the four inch lift, you can run 33" tires with good clearance. That is probably the largest tire that you will want to put on there. If you want to go with 12.5" wide tires, you can do it with 8" rims that are back spaced enough to give you clearance for turning lock, to lock. If you are going to keep it on the street most of the time, I would recommend going with 10" rims to get better wear on your tires. You will need 10" rims that are back spaced 3.75 inches. Also, with these size tires, your going to experience loss in power. So at this point you need to consider changing the gears in your diffs. There are other issues that will come about as well. But this is a start.4Jeepn said:Need more info.. Have you bought the kit? If so which one? As for tires. are you keeping stock rims, or getting after market?
