Hello, I have a 1987 Yj with some weird starting issues. I have changed the crankshaft position sensor, the ignition control module, and have had the ECM checked. The engine is a 2.5L fuel injected 4 cylinder. My problem is that the Jeep starts with no problem. However, once hot, I turn the Jeep off and it will not start again. The engine cranks however there is no power from the ignition module to the distributor when this occurs. Has anybody else had the same problems?

I had this happen on 84 Thunderbird with fuel injection. That turned out to be a bad ignition module. When it was cold it would work fine, but after the ignition module got hot, it would not start until it cooled down.
