My buddy was curious what the height difference was on his stock 2012 JK compared to my 06 TJ with a 3'' lift with 33's so we parked them next to each other and heres how they look

I had 33"s on a 2". It rubbed when the front was disco'd. I have a 1.25" body lift on it now and I don't have any issues.

You can put 33"s on a tj with no lift. Hell you can fit 35"s no lift. Here's a TJ with 35"s no lift.
