Hi All,
I have a 2012 Wrangler JK Unlimited. I had a problem with calipers sticking and heating up the rotors. After going through this for months, I've replaced all hoses (flexible brake lines), and have new calipers and rotors (all OEM). I had read about collapsing hoses causing brakes to stick. This worked for a few months, but tonight the problem returned. Front brake stuck on the way home from work. Makes no sense to me. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions appreciated.

Might need to flush the lines too.

What they said, and I'll add too. You need to find out what's sticking.

Are the guide pins bent and preventing the caliper to float like normal causing the pad to be stuck to the rotor? or.. Is the actual piston cup getting stuck out and not releasing.

Can be a number of things.

I would make sure you are using the correct fluid and make sure its fresh.

Make sure you have greased the tabs on the pads. And make sure the tabs are ok.

I actually got pads that didn't have the tabs in the box, I can see someone installing the pads without them and having a problem like this.
