You don't have to take anyone's word about SCs. Compare the power curve vs stock and you decide how much usable power and torque it will generate for you and don't forget the noise if that matters.
Swapping an engine successfully is not a simple job. I would go with the engine that is easiest to swap and integrate. I really like the GM small block LS2 but for many reasons IMO a Hemi would be easier.
