Hello,
I am looking into upgrading my hu in my 2012 jk. I found a great deal on a Kenwood DNX-6180-HD with Rear Cam unit. I was wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on the unit! Other recommendations and/or pictures would also be appreciated! Thanks:thumb:

There are so many to choose from these days. I chose an ipad mini and couldn't be happier!

I can't give feedback to that particular head unit, but we had a Kenwood DNX7100 in our Honda Odyssey. It was a complete piece of junk. Obviously, it was quite an old head unit (we bought it when it came out in 2007), so maybe things have changed.

Then again, I just did a quick Google search for it. I know they aren't the definitive source for all things audio, but the reviews for that head unit on Crutchfield seem pretty.......bad.
DNX6180

Edit:
I just looked at a few more....Crutchfield has some 'Scratch and Dent' ones for a pretty good price and better customer ratings than the DNX6180.
DNX5190 - $441
DNX7190HD - $599

It seems like a decent pioneer can be had for like $300 and just add a back up camera.

I would recommend Sony, but I don't have a double din, I have a din.

Do you have a picture of the JVC?
I can probably help here, I have the same or a very similar unit:

This is the JVC KW-AV60BT. It's OK for what it is; sound quality is decent enough, EQ isn't bad, features are reasonable. It doesn't excel at anything and the way some of the features work is annoying, but it's an inexpensive unit and the removable faceplate is a good feature to have in a Jeep.

I'm taking mine out shortly and replacing it with a Pioneer AppRadio 3, partly because I like trying new toys and partly because the JVC is just..... OK.
