We now have heat to the steering wheel, next we need to wire in a switch and get it ready for battery power. On the temp gun we measured 115°

This could be interesting...115 sounds toasty!!

Have you verified fitment of the GC steering wheel to the JK?

It is different so my plan is to use a Grant Steering Wheel Adapter with the correct splines for the JK

Mounting a heated steering wheel is not the hard part. Getting power to the wheel is the hard part... at least while avoiding external wiring mounted all over the place.

The clock spring itself has no empty contacts so you would have to make your own and add to the clock spring. Either that or figure out how to make a JL clock spring fit in a jk.

Subscribed with interest. Although I've never owned a vehicle with a steering wheel there are those mornings where I wished I had one. Good luck!
