Heading to the dealer as I am approaching 33k miles. Warranty expires at 36k. Here is a list of issues I need fixed before 36k.

- Center console latch. Broke the tab to open the top of center console in my '16. Broke this one with 2k miles on the clock. Now broken again. Cheap Chinese shit.

- Rear defrost connector. Wire was poorly soldered and has come undone where it attaches to the window on the drivers side.

- Battery. Little hope but have receipt where I had to buy one on July 5th where the dealerships were closed for the holiday weekend. Only 17 months and 23k on the clock.

- License plate light holder. Tabs slide out of housing causing the bulb holder to fall out.

- Muffler. Leaking water/condensation from the bottom most portion of the weld on the side seam. Def not dripping to that place as it is uphill from the exhaust outlet. Poor weld seam. Live in high and dry Texas so it is not an external corrosion issue.

- Drivers door is sagging and not closing properly.

- Factory AEV front bumper is tilted by 1/2" on the passenger side. No contact made, just falling from its intended location on the frame.

- Driver rear fender has come out of its push button holder causing it to sag. It will not go back in without tearing it apart. No contact made... it has simply come loose.

- Drivers seatbelt will not retract properly without pushing it back in manually. This is the most recent issue.

Makes me wonder why I paid $44k for a vehicle that has this many issues before the manufacturers minimum warranty has expired. I don't go "wheeling" but I do travel on dirt/gravel roads.

Thank you! I am at 30K and this is a very helpful checklist. Thanks again.

I also have the drivers side door issue.... I am starting to hear road noise from it also now due to loose rubber or something on the door frame...

Wow, I can't believe that stuff. I don't want to read this! I just bought an '18 JK. The console feels very strong/sturdy compared to my '06 TJ's thin, flimsy plastic. I was impressed with that and how strong/sturdy the doors feel compared to the TJ's. everything felt more robust. I hope it lasts.

Only thing that broke since owning new in '06 on TJ was the air vents cracked if they get tapped even a little hard.

Make 'em fix it! If they keep getting away with it, quality will only get worse.

Dropping by to show the new dealer (dealer I bought it from has horrendous customer service) and see what they say and how long they will need it.

Am I disappointed? Sure. The bottom line is Jeep/Chrysler took cheap ways out on construction and build materials. Simple as that.

That's quite a list of issues some of which replacement parts might need to be ordered. Other than the rear defroster or seat belt issues I'd probably fix the rest myself. No issues on my '16 to share other than an outstanding recall that doesn't affect off-roading. JK is running too good to take it in.

If it is fixed under warranty once, and it happens again, it will be taken care of again. If it isn't noted by service, it will never be covered after the warranty expires.

PSA - Really??

I don't perceive your list as a PSA.. more like a B-list.. Had a 2011 JKU... Have 2013 JKU 63,000 miles Have 2016 JKU 31,000 both 6 spd trans & 17 x 9's & they see the "RED Line".. Guess What.. NONE Of YOUR LIST is affecting Mine!!! Had the hardtop off 3 of 5 summers...Like you not much Off Road.. NOTE that the AEV Bumper is not Factory. Just my Feedback... Good Luck getting yours satisfactory.
