Brand new JLUR around 600 miles. It seems to be shifting a bit odd and a bit stiff so I went to check the fluid level... Well, you can't check it. Wow. I guess I should have known that but I did not. The Wrangler manual claims you must take it to a dealer. That is not cool.

The Lexus dealer acted like I was nuts even asking about it. "It will last the life of the vehicle...it is sealed."

There is a procedure on youtube.
Its similar to Hyundai - add some fluid and then after some manipulations you let the excess drip out. Trans Temp reader needed, probably OBD or an infrared thermometer can work.
ATF is special type, more expensive off course, its greenish, dont add pink ATF it will ruin it.
Its dedinitely not a "trail" or even "driveway" job.
