After years of looking at them but never buying one, I saw a sweet, low mileage JK the other day. Picking it up this weekend. The 4DR ones are nice but I really wanted the 2DR. Presently drive a 20 Lexus GX460 with K02s on it - love that thing but also love Jeeps. I know the Sahara is not the Rubicon but it can be modded to get it done in the woods. I take the GX off road and it is fun - it’ll go anywhere in comfort. Will sell the 460 and be 20k ahead so I’ll be having some fun with this one.

The pic is the 51 Willys CJ3 my father had. Manual passenger’s windshield wiper and all.

Welcome. Nothing wrong with a Sahara. It is a good starting point which you can build as you want vice paying a premium for a Rubicon and then replacing the parts as you upgrade.
