I just had my 1997 wrangler steering gear box replaced.

now when I drive it I have to keep my steering wheel between 9 and 10 o, clock to go straight. If I put the steering wheel to the normal position, I go off the road pretty quick. The jeep goes to 2 oclock.

is this from the new gear box?? DO I NEED AN ALIGNEMENT. Would it be just a front end alignement or all 4 wheels???

If all you did was replace the box, the alignment should still be OK. You need to adjust the drag link to center the steering wheel.

Adjusting the length of the drag link is what centers the steering wheel, it has a short adjustable length on it that is for that purpose. Here's how to adjust it, about half-way down the page, which only takes a few minutes... Basic Jeep Front End Alignment
