With 10.50s, it won't matter if your stock wheels are 7 or 8" wide, you'll still be ok. I have 33x10.5s on my 2000 on stock steel 7" wheels off of an 03 and no issues. Prior to this change, I had 32x11.50s on the stock 8" Canyon wheels. Also, my son's 97 had 31x10.50s on the stock 8" Gamblers when we bought it and it was fine.
