I have not seen many reviews of the mopar kicker speaker upgrade for the 2011 Wrangler with Inifinty system so I thought I would share my thoughts for those of you looking at the system. I purchased through my local jeep dealership although they were not familar with the set up. Its important to have the mopar/kicker product numbers handy. I went with the full system: 4 speakers, Amp, and seperate external sub/amp. Product numbers:
(1) 77KCK052 - Subwoofer Audio Kit
(1) 77KCK056 - Amp
(2) 77KICK10 - 6.5 Speakers, I orders 4, 2 in each pack
NOTE: This set up is intended to work as one solution. I would not advise running just the speakers or just the sub. The 77KCK056 ties the entire system together. Also, keep you fade and balance in the "center" position. The amp has DSP and uses the sound bar to help fill the interior. This set up is not pushing the same "sound" to every speaker. The sub is LOUD, in a good way. I have it at negative 4.

Set up wasnt to hard but i have installed a few sound systmes in cars and am compfortable pulling panels off, electrical, etc... The directions are okay but i ended up reading them 4 or 5 times. I started by installing the 77KCK056 first then the 77KICK10's and finally the 77KCK052. You essentialy have to pull off the same panels for the install. Took me about 4 hours to install. Having the right tools are improtant. You can see what you need from the directions on the Kicker website

Depending on your budget this is not a cheap system. It was right at a grand... more if you need some one to install.

In my opinion this set up is an impresive upgrade. High's, Mids, and Low's are all there and all types of music sound very very good. Its a strong system with a lot of punch.

Hope this helps another

I have a 2013 JKU with the premium stereo with a 430N. I have already replaced the speakers with the Kicker replacements, 77KICK10s, and that was a great improvement. Will replacing the amp with the Kicker amp help out even more? Add more volume?

Is the amp a plug and play? Does it sit where the stock one is? Is there any other wiring that needs to be done, like connecting it to the battery, etc.?

I have not seen any reviews or anything regarding the Kicker amp, the 77KCK056. Just curious if it is work adding it or not.
