I've been going to KOH since it started and last year was bad for spectators. After the tragic accident at the rock pile during the 200 the BLM cracked down hard. Last year they allowed just a few viewing areas that were so packed with people it was hard to see much. The rest of the course was off limits to spectators and this was enforced really well. Word is that the BLM is tightening the restrictions even more this year and that the promoter has been shopping for JumboTrons for the pit areas to help the spectators watch the action. I hope this is not the beginning of the end for this event.
I think im gonna go for the every man to check it out the weekend before and i saw there is a jumbo tron by the pits or some thing and they say they redid the spectator areas and added more, yeah that sucks you have to be so far back its hard to see.
Let me know if you head out on race day. More than likely I'll be out there again checking things out.
