Looking at the Kumho Road Venture MT. Since it is a directional tire any suggestions on what to do with the spare? Should I mount it on the spare and hope if I ever need it will be on the correct side or should I get a non directional tire for the spare? Not liking getting a different tire since it won't match the rest. Read good reviews about this tire or should I get something else.

I have had sets on two different vehicles and absolutely loved them. Will pull you anywhere. Not so much if you need to back up. I mounted one as the spare. was told it would get me out in a pinch and back to the shop. just don't run it and forget about it. I think tirerack.com had the best price lately.

Skywgn1, thanks for the reply. I read a directional tire works on wet roads in avoiding hydroplaning otherwise it will be fine temporarily if driven in the "opposite" direction. Probably going to purchase them. There is a $100 rebate till the end of May and looks like a good value too.

Didn't know about the rebate. They are a killer tire. Keep them rotated.
