Whats the last month and first month of production in a given model year?

my 2015 was build 07/15 would the 16's be 08/15?

It varies. There is no set rule.

The 2016 model year was delayed. Originally, out to November, but then pulled back into September 2015.

The 2017 model year could be cut short, or be extended, depending on when the JL is ready.
