Hey guys, I'm about to install the MetalCloak LED Rear Tail lights and the LED side marker lights. I've heard that LED lights pull so little power that the ECU causes the lights to blink faster (about double speed). I've also heard that some splice in resistors. It sounds like there is no relay to replace and that it comes from the ECU.

My question is, assuming the above, can the ECU be reprogrammed for LED level power draw to blink 'normal'? Or is there another option, outside of resisters?

I'd rather not have to deal with resisters, with which I've heard potential issues.

I have the IPCW LED's and they do not require any resistors or modification...just plug and play
