Hey ladies and gents I wanted to reach out to everyone in Virginia and see if you all wanted to pull together and do a Jeep event. I figure that we can all get together and do some trail riding and camping out in the George Washington National Forest. We could all meet somewhere to introduce ourselves and then convoy up to the trail. I am thinking of setting this up for the spring of 2011 to give everyone time to plan. This wouldn't be anything major, just a bunch of fellow Jeepers meeting to trail ride and cook some good food over a camp fire. Well let me know what you think....

Oh and this isn't just for TJ owners. If you know any CJ, YJ or JK owners then bring them as well.

x2 Im no expert at wheeling, so you guys planning on heavy wheeling or what?
Hey, sorry I haven't been on in awhile. I don't expect that we would be doing anything to serious. Most of the trails at GWNF aren't too serious. We could stay on the lighter trails. I haven't been on the trails up there in well over a year so I can't promise that they will all be easy. I plan on having my Uncle and his Jeep group with us. They know almost every trail and switch back up there, they have been wheeling since they were kids. Like I said this would mostly be to have fun and make new friends while doing something we all love. I will try to get back on soon with updates. Thanks and I hope to be wheeling with you soon.

Also, I would be happy to plan the trip with you. I might be able to wrangle up a few more good people to join the convoy as well, but, we may have to include XJs and ZJs! I say they are welcome as I also own a built ZJ and soon an XJ.

Thanks. Help is always welcome and appreciated. I also welcome all Jeeps. To me a Jeep is a Jeep. I don't care what model it is. Half the guys that I trail ride with have a mix of different Jeeps. Tell them all to come.
