Just got a 2010 sport. Completely stock at the moment. I have plenty I'd like to do to it (of course) but I have my priorities. I'm wanting to run 35's and I'm thinking about this lift

I'm not doing any extreme off-roading any time soon. I'm just wondering if it's worth buying and if I need anything else to complete this lift with 35's. Thanks in advance

Welcome to WF its a great place!

Generally, people will steer you away from RC, their coils are not the greatest and folks have had a lot of issues with their shocks leaking. With that said, as far as the kit you posted goes I think its actually one of the better Budget Boost kits available. Some people like to knock budget boosts and will say to spend more money and get something better. But there really is nothing wrong with a puck lift. They are a very effective way to gain clearance for larger tires. I would steer you away from the RC shocks though. If your on a tight budget then have a look at the Rancho 5000x shocks they get great reviews for an awesome price. Or you could go with shock extensions with your stock shocks, you would be giving up some shock length and as a result down travel in your suspension (less flex), but you can always upgrade shocks when the funds become available or when rancho does their rebates!

You may have to look into getting a rear trackbar bracket if your rear axle is pretty far off or if the jeep is tracking funny (teraflex makes a nice bolt on axle side bracket). But you could always install then see where your at. The nice thing about puck lifts is you know exactly how much lift you will be getting.

As far as 35's go if your jeep is stock then you should have no problems with that lift, if you already have bumpers, racks, winch, etc and other weight then your stock springs may have already been compressed some or sagged and 35s could rub (there are other options for that as well).

I'm sure folks will tell you that you need to put better springs on but its really not true, sure they are nice and if you have extra weight they certainly help with that, but the truth is not everyone has the funds or needs that.

Take some time to read some of the popular links on lifts, that will help familiarize yourself to whats out there and what will be the best setup for your needs not someone else's!
