lift kit question(s)

I have a 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited sport and am wanting to get a 2.5 inch lift, mainly for looks. As well as bigger tires. So my questions are what size tires could I get? Recommendations on lift kits, as well as what all does someone need for a lift? I heard of programmers, axel gears, etc. Is this all needed and how much does this all cost for a decent setup?

Do you know what axle ratio you have? If it's 3.21, you should probably look at 33" tires. Keep in mind you will need wheels with the proper back spacing to run bigger tires. If you are just lifting for looks and 33's, the budget boosts do a great job at that. The AEV 2" is a great place to start.
