thanks for the quick reply, it's much appreciated. It's a pain to try and visualize what a setup is going to look like until it's on and we all know that modding isn't cheap so it would suck to buy something then have it look retarded. Now i just have to find a new way to get into my favorited trails considering i was rubbing the stock tires on trees to fit into a small quad trail. LOL.bigjeep said:your 31's will clear fine especially since you have new aftermarket wheels on the way...with the new wheels you won't rub unless your offroad flexing...you'll be fine with that setup...and my personal preference is for the tires to stick out past the fender flares...i think it looks mean and good and i like them to stick out but thats just my personal preference...only downside is that it will throw mud and other stuff all over your jeep cause the fender flares won't be there to catch it...but it won't be that much past the flares so it's not a huge deal...i wouldn't get new flares unless your doing a ton offroading (and maybe not even then)
thanks, i actually got my wheels and tires in today and I put them on. I took pics but i lost the damn cable to transfer to the computer. I only did 31x10.5's on the stock height with a +6 offset on the wheels. The only stick about 1". Just enough to look aggressive and of course no rubbing at all. I even climbed a few rocks to see if under minor flex it would rub and they didnt' come close. Again, thanks for the help.1BLKJP said:Hey Josh, This won't look exactly like yours will because I'm running 35x12.50's on 10 inch wide rims, but here's a pic of how far my tires stick out from my flares right now. I like the wider stance and I don't rub at all on the flares.
I'm not sure that's true. I think they might rub under the fenders in the right conditions. You've run 32s with no problems?bigjeep said:ya could fit some 32's easily though![]()
