I'm installing a RK 2.5 max lift with Bilstein 5100's. I want my 2012 JK to have level stance. I will have have ACE front and rear bumpers, so there will be a little be more weight. Do I need to install additional lift up front so I don't have the traditional rake??

You can probably get by with some small spacers. You might also check with a rep from RK to see if their kit is engineered to support a little more weight in the front to accomodate bumper and winches before you spring for a spacer kit.

I installed a 1" TF spacer with my 2.5" TF lift. It has a perfect stance with my stubby bumper and winch. I would get the spacer if I was you.

The RK springs are progressive rate which means they shouldn't sag with bumpers. I doubt you will need to do anything to correct it.

Here is a shot of mine w/ RK 2 1/2 Max Travel. 12K winch and bumper made from 2"x4" x 1/4" wall structural steel; skid made from 3/16" plate; and slider made from 1/4" x 3" angle. Sorry, don't have a real good straight side shot.

Thanks for all the replies. It confirms what I all ready decided. I'm doing this myself. Are there any tricks I should know about? Exhaust extension, spring clips and bump stops are on the list. The only thing I am undecided on are tires. Going back and forth from duratracs to procomps. Goodyear is winning so far.

Btw, nice rigs!!!

I ran with stock bump stops for a while. I ended up getting the Teraflex upper bump stop extensions and teraflex lower bump stops for the rear when I get 35" MTR's.
