I'm dead in a parking lot. I have a brand new die hard platinum and all new plugs and wires.
Over the last couple of days when I go to start it, it seemed to lag a little. Now I put the key in and all dash lights come on but nothing happens. No click, nothing. I think it's the starter....but I did a search and found something about a clutch over ride. I looked in both fuse blocks and don't see anything labeled as such.
Any ideas to get me up and running?

See if your starter wire is loose or the bolt dirty. And check your battery posts for corrosion and looseness.

Everything is tight and clean. Just waiting in the tow truck now. Then I'll check more when I get it back to the house.

check the actual ground wires, where they go into the ground terminal...there are 2 of them...I had the same thing happen to me this morning (2:30 am)...sure enough, one of the grounds could easily slip right out, tightened it with a 7/16, got a jump and has been starting fine all day. Good Luck

ok, I got the Jeep towed home and I crawled under and played with all the wires going to the starter and everything is fine.
I did notice over the last week or so that it was "slow starting" and it did the same this morning. I drove it to the store and when I came out nothing....all lights came on and the stereo came on..but not a sound, no click nothing.
I also noticed that the steering wheel does not lock and the tow truck driver thought that that had something to do with the problem. He mentioned something about the anti theft might have gotten broken. But I don't think that would have caused it to do the slow start as it's been doing....

Is there a way to test the starter by myself?

The clutch interlock fuse is labeled Trans. However, earlier TJ's were bypassed by a connection under the knee bolster panel. For safety, I would remove the starter and take it to an auto zone or similar to bench test it. You can use a pair of jumper cables to test it after taking it out, but they tend to jump all over on the floor, and the jeep is usually too far from the vice to support it safely.

Turn your headlights on without the engine running. While a helper turns the ignition switch to the Start position to try to start your Jeep, watch your headlights. If they dim significantly or go out, you have a bad battery connection. If the headlights stay on at full brightness but the starter won't turn over, you've got either a bad starter, bad starter solenoid, bad starter relay, or flakey ignition switch.
